Afghan National Army
The initial branch of Afghan armed forces that tackles land warfare is the Afghan National Army. This army's origin is dated back to the early 18th century with the establishment of the Hotak dynasty in Kandhar after Ahmad Shah Durrani's rule. After then, it was more polished and improved until in the early 90s, the Afghan Army was equipped by the Soviet Union which disrupted the management. However, it remained like that for quite a short interval and after then it started gaining strength, transforming to be one of the most recognized armies.
Afghan Air Force
The second branch of Afghan armed forces that manages the aerial warfare of the nation is Afghan Air Force. This force is well equipped with many high-elevated jets and high-end helicopters. Military Projects
